Headed ever westward.....

June 1st and after a week in Moose Jaw for ongoing repairs and maintenance we head further west almost to the border with Alberta. People along the way had warned us about the perils of driving through the prairies, no fuel stops, coffee stops, wee wee stops etc but personally, Im rather enjoying myself. Very straight roads, rather bumpy in places and hardly any traffic other than the Titanicesque trucks bounding along at unstoppable speed. We stopped in Maple Creek for a day or two to get some laundry done and have a look around. Very hot today so the aircon is making its debut. Oh, almost forgot, the trailer brakes are behaving now that I've           discovered the adjustment knob in the truck. 😀
We bought a TV in a charity shop along with some DVDs, then tried for some local TV. On the ceiling is a handle which when turned raises an ariel on the roof. 20 minutes of tuning, ariel turning and a lot of static on the screen, I admitted defeat. As I wound the blasted thing back down the handle snapped leaving it fully extended, not good whilst travelling! Good old "Bob that does things" shimmied up the ladder onto the roof and flattened the appendage with a single blow. Good old Bob.
